LGP has closed the gallery to the public and invited artists, political commentators, writers, curators and economists to engage in a series of debates and discussions which examine the task and terminology of a contemporary art institution in an urban environment. The discussions will address issues which are significant to the curatorial agenda of the LGP operation and mine into the critical position of recent changes - securing Arts Council England funding to support programming costs and our move into a central public-facing gallery. It will be a live constitution making period.
The debates will be streamed live, recorded and archived online and the evaluation of each will be written into a working LGP manifesto.
